This is an original painting done on canvas using acrylic paints, pearl ex micas, and Isopropyl alcohol. The background was sealed with epoxy resin, then the Hummingbirds and flowers were painted in acrylic. A final layer of resin was applied to seal it all together. The resin gives this peice a glass-like finish. There are slight imperfections in the final layer, however, not noticible enough to take away from the overall beauty of the painting.
